Shantam is an aquatic bodywork Therapist and Instructor whose work is characterized by constant attention to the client's breath and by an extraordinary ability to connect profoundly with each client on both a physical and energetic level.  Presence of Being is the core of what she brings to her work as well as teaching a course by the same name. She also practices and teaches the liquid bodywork forms known as Watsu and WaterDance: transformative bodywork that is experienced in body temperature warm water.

"It is my joy to share with you through Aquatic Bodywork and to assist you in exploring through the fluidity of the water the grace of Presence: inviting you to embrace the continuous unfolding of the 'mysterious moment' fully present with your mind, body, emotions and breath; Awake to all that is from the stillness within. From this place of loving acceptance; physically, mentally and emotionally, you can access your own innate wisdom and ability to love, heal and live from a place of wholeness and completeness. From here, you can experience the deepest connection on all levels to all aspects of your life. Through this connection, your life, your purpose, and your work - everything - becomes an inspired practice of being rather than one of doing. This is a return to the heart, a return to the innocence of who is underneath whatever beliefs you may have held about yourself. Remembering who you truly are is rediscovering the freedom to live and embody the ease and joy of your true nature."
